Well That Didn't Last Long

I am hiking again with my hiking partner, an update on that last hike.

Life has been keeping me rather busy lately so I have been slow getting entries finished for posting here but it has been 10-20 days since hiking with Ross. I have not heard from him since which is rather unusual. We do not make it every week but we do try to so that is 2-4 times I have not heard from him, until yesterday. Wednesday, Ross called me to see if I was available for hiking. I wasn't really but one of his crazy ladies was driving him to distraction and he had to get away from her so I rearranged my day for him. Due to unusually high traffic we were unable to leave the city so we went for a walk through Point Pleasant Park. Although Point Pleasant Park is generally considered a place for strolling, it can provide more exercise the way we do it. We had a very enjoyable afternoon walking the less used trails in the park. One good moment was when Ross told me he has a boyfriend now and I reminded him that he told me last time we were out but it was nice to see him accepting who he is and seemingly happy with himself. Gee, if only someone had told him years ago that if he admitted to being gay he might relax a little and maybe even be happy. It was a nice day and I am happy for Ross.
